Both Jeffrey and Stephen have excellent records as business leaders in the civil-construction industry. Director (Operations) - Jeffrey Doyle
Jeffrey represents the second generation of the Doyle Family involvement with Mendi Constructions; he has worked in the Construction Industry for more than 20 years and has been a company Director since 1994. Jeff has overseen and been an integral part of the growth of the Mendi business entities while maintaining close contact with the tendering and construction of all projects undertaken by Mendi. Having an eye for quality people and developing them is an attribute that Jeff has.
Jeffrey is responsible for all construction operations. He has earned an enviable reputation for completing difficult and complex projects, while at the same time meeting and exceeding the expectations of clients and consultants. In Jeffreys many years of experience he has been faced with unique challenges such as weather, labour and material sourcing difficulties, restricted construction periods and tight environmental constraints. Jeff is the go to man for difficult projects and innovative ideas.
As a Director of Mendi Constructions he contributes significantly in strategic planning as well as providing valuable technical and logistical support to the business. His passion to excel and promote the Mendi brand is without question.

Director (Administration) - Stephen Goicoechea
Steve Goicoechea has been a company Director since 1994 and his family has been owner/managers since its inception in the 1950's so his experience within the Civil Construction Industry is extensive.
Steve is committed to ensuring the company delivers projects on time and within budget to the clients Quality, Safety and Environmental specification requirements. As a shareholder Steve is involved in the day-to-day management of the company and has the ability to manage and prove local resources through extensive local knowledge and professional relationships.
Steve is a hands-on Principal in daily contact with staff on the job. He is responsible for liaising with authorities, clients and consultants. He takes a keen interest in all aspects of the business.

General Manager - Simon Ormes
Simon is a Townsville local with over 20 years experience in the civil construction industry in roles ranging from design through to project management, business development for one of Australia’s largest contractors and regional management of a leading mid tier contractor. Most recently, Simon was responsible for the management of a $120m+ program of work restoring community assets as a result of the recent natural disasters in the Townsville region.
Simon possesses significant experience in, and is heavily focussed on, customer relations and collaborative contracts such as Alliances, ECI's and Managing Contractor.
Simon has recently been identified in a select group of emerging community leaders who will drive progress within the region and is participating in Townsville Enterprise’s inaugural North Queensland Emerging Leaders Program.
His broad experience in all aspects of construction from front end project identification through to estimating, delivery, commercial and risk management places him in the ideal position to promote and support Mendi’s position as one of North Queensland’s leading civil engineering providers.

Senior Construction Manager - Marcello Verzeletti
Marcello is the manager you need to oversee major projects. His track record proves that his management techniques are what are needed to ensure that projects are run on time, to budget and to the highest standards. Marcello is a civil engineer and member of the Institute of Engineers Australia. He has invaluable experience in project management and oversees all aspects of civil construction, from QA processes to site management.

Transport & Contracts Crushing Manager - Kelly HurleKelly brings all her management and project co-ordination skills to bear as Mendi's Transport/ & Crushing Contracts manager. Kelly oversees all operations from both an administrative and production capacity. Kelly's extensive knowledge and experiance of the Quarrying and Transport Industry enables her to co-ordinate a fleet of heavy vehicles and crushing plant which ensures the production of a variety of quality materials in a cost effective, efficient and professional manner.

Construction Manager - Scott Carr
Scott is Mendi Constrictions' man on the ground and his commitment to ensure safe and effective site operations make him a valuable asset to any civil-construction project. He is responsible for the supervision, planning and control of all key areas of site operation. Scott has many years of hands-on experience across a wide scope of projects. His roles include the implementation of company policies on the site and the co-ordination and implementation of project plans, including the allocation of human resources.

Project Manager – Steve Gricks
Steve supervises Mendi’s projects involving concrete structures, road, bulk earthworks, drainage, and underground services. With Steve supervising the project, our clients can be assured that they have a specialist at work for them on these unique projects. His focus is to direct and support operations to good work practices as defined by the company’s policies and procedures.

Site Supervisor's role is to coordinate and control all physical aspects of the day-to-day works on our projects. They are accountable for the progress of the site works and control of activities generally on-site, liaising with local authorities and clients to ensure each project is completed on time and to specifications.
Workplace Health & Safety Manager - Michael Knight
Michael has many years experience of workplace training in the mining industry. His experience in the stringent health and safety procedures required in mining is a huge advantage for Mendi's own operating procedures.
In the construction industry, training and compliance requirements are constantly changing, and Michael ensures that all employees are up to date with their necessary qualifications. Michael reviews training programs and workshops, identifies legal requirements and advises on the health and safety requirements for each project.
